Our one day introductory course is designed to give you a fun, enjoyable and informative introduction to the world of paddlesport. We will be introducing a number of basic strokes required to move a craft, a rundown of general observed practices, equipment and clothing choices and some exciting games to test new skills.

Experience is neither necessary nor required; in fact it is encouraged, the day is designed to take those who have never stepped foot in a kayak or canoe and show the fun and incredible opportunities the sport of kayaking can offer.

This course is run within a sheltered environment throughout the year, as it is important to us that you feel comfortable in your surroundings when trying something new. Our professional instructors will begin by initially briefing the group and when everyone is geared up and ready to go we will get on the water and give it a go!

Price Per Person:

£85.00 per person, discounts available for group bookings.

What to Bring:

• Equipment suitable for a sheltered water environment and  cold conditions
• Appropriate footwear for uneven and wet surfaces
• Lunch for the day

Notes:

This course will run at a number of suitable venues throughout the year, and is available upon request to groups by simply contacting us beforehand.

Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited provide all attendees with public liability insurance and accidental injury cover up to £5,000,000 during the course, however the risks associated with paddlesport and outdoor activities are your own and through booking and accepting our terms and conditions you take responsibility for these risks.
