Skiing is a traditional Slovene pastime, and although it may not be the best known ski destination in the Alps, and in comparison with the resorts of the ‘big 4’; France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria, Slovenia’s ski resorts may on the surface seem to lack in sophistication and après facilities, however a significantly friendlier atmosphere, little to no queues and the knowledge that in most cases you’ll be mixing with the locals rather than the international jet-set crowd, both on and off the slopes, we’re able to deliver a rather more cultural appealing excursion than most.
