Our inspection visits are designed to allow schools and colleges to get an idea of what the resorts are like in person so that you can make a well-informed decision on where you will take your students. Inspection visits also provide a well deserved and fun ski trip, allowing attendees to hit the slopes at the end of a stressful week and potentially get some early season skiing under their belt before their own personal holiday. We currently provide 2 inspection visit options: open and closed.
Our open inspections focus on schools and colleges that haven’t fully decided on their chosen resort yet and need some help and on the ground inspiration to do so. These open visits are designed to help you with that exact decision by providing you and your team with a 3-day tour of a small handful of very different regional resorts. The inspection itinerary will be based on the group's general feelings and comments at booking.
We believe receiving the opportunity to sample and get a feeling for a number of resorts and different locations, networking with both teachers/trip with coordination from other establishments and members of our team, you’ll be significantly more confident in choosing which resort is right for your group when you return home.
There is a chance your lead resort option isn’t that of the majority of the group, and therefore there is a risk it may receive a reduced inspection than others. This, of course, is the very nature of an open inspection. We try and meet as many peoples requirements as possible, however, we will do our up-most to help you with your decision before leaving.
Our open visits are separate from our closed inspections, and attendance upon an open visit does not invalidate our stated obligations to you concerning a closed inspection booking.

Closed inspection visits are personal and only open to you as the booking party. Designed for you to familiarise yourself with your chosen resort, your accommodation and to get a general feel for the location and the proposed itinerary for the trip. You’ll get a chance to meet our team, discuss your trip, receive the answers to any budding questions you or your team back home have, and of course sample some local cuisine and warm hospitality.
As part of your booking process, the trip leader automatically receives a free space. There is a fee for any additional members of staff you wish to bring along with you.
If you are wishing to conduct an inspection visit before completing your initial booking, there is a fee for both the trip leader and any accompanying member of staff. Upon successful completion of your booking, the trip leader fee is deducted from your financial plan.
We recommend a weekend visit. You would fly in late Friday afternoon and depart late Sunday evening, which would provide you with sufficient time to assess all parts of the resort you wish to see and provide two days on the slopes.
If you would like, you have the option to book a second inspection visit. We understand the importance of peace of mind when planning such a large and complex trip. As standard, we currently don’t offer any free spaces, however, if the party has a completed and confirmed booking and the party numbers are above a certain threshold you will be provided with a discounted surcharge price.
