We have a wide range of packages to help schools that are neither ready nor internally equipped to teach first aid as of the moment, and support establishments that wish to outsource this teaching to a national training provider.
As a respected and experienced provider of first aid instruction, our course teachers will inspire your young people and promote learning through a wide range of fun, practical activities and classroom appropriate resources.
We have developed a number of modular lessons to appropriately meet the needs of Key Stage 2, 3 & 4 pupils to support learning first aid as part of their health education and to meet the required curriculum standards.
Each Key Stage consists of 8 separate topic lessons that can fit into either a 30 or 60 minute period to meet a mixture of school timetables and circumstances.
Lesson topics include; allergies and asthma, basic life support, bites and stings, burns and scalds, bleeding and shock, choking, chest pains, and head injuries.
For all key stages, we have created a ‘road map’ or ‘pathway’ to help teachers decide how to order lessons over each key stage. The order for these lessons have been chosen to reflect first aid statistics, common injuries relevant to a pupils age and to reflect growing individual and subject maturity during their key stage journey, however, these lessons can deviate from this pathway and be chosen to reflect certain curriculum subjects, topics or relevant current affairs.
Key Stage 2:
8 Lessons available; 1 lesson advised per academic year from year groups 2 through to 6.
Key Stage 3:
8 Lessons; 3 lessons advised per year academic year from year groups 7 through to 9. Lessons suit back to back provision over the course of a singular term or individually spread out over 3 consecutive school terms.
Key Stage 4:
8/9 Lessons; 3 lessons advised per year academic year from year groups 10 through to 11. Lessons suit back to back provision over the course of a singular term or individually spread out over 3 consecutive school terms.

As part of our first aid provision for schools and colleges, we have developed a specialist course in conjunction with industry professionals, teachers and current/ex emergency service personnel to focus on providing life-saving first aid skills for young people whilst helping support students learning as part of their overall health education.
Targeted towards students who are deemed at high risk of violent street crime, involved in anti-social behaviour and potential substance abuse, this course has been constructed to empower young people to potentially save a life in an emergency, increase their awareness of personal and peer risk, reinforce the dangers and realities of carrying offensive and illegal weapons and potentially overall reduce and prevent further individual involvement in street crime.
The course is approximately 3/4 hours in duration and is both available in singular hour-long modular lessons or extendable to cover additional topics at an establishments request.
Topics include but aren’t limited to;
