Before the conception of Lloyd Langford Expedition Training, we were students at Sheffield Hallam University with a passion for all things outdoors; sports, expeditions and providing training opportunities. It was here we began working closely with the university student bodies, organisations, and sports groups and we continue to have strong and established links within Sheffield Hallam University to this day.

Our experience in working with universities allows us to provide bespoke and accredited outdoor training services to staff and students alike. Working closely with students, we can support them in the provision of first aid training (including outdoor sports, sport fitness and first aid for mental health) at a number of levels, along with paddlesport/snowsport skills based courses, trips, expeditions, and more! Due to our experience in student sporting groups, and the fact that our business was born from our time at university, we have extensive knowledge of university and student union structure, oversight and regulations.

Our ethos has always been grounded in taking the financial burden away from staff and students looking for training and development opportunities. We provide a range of flexible payment plans and schedules to meet the needs of all institutions and student bodies. We are competitively priced and offer great deals and discounts to student groups who book with us, and loyalty systems for institutions that rebook with us again in the future.

Our post-training services is extensive, however summarised they include technical advice, further individual training opportunities, mentoring, follow up/refresher courses, certificate reissuing, and rebooking. Alongside this, we ensure you have all the appropriate resources, support, and advice at your disposal - directly from us or our trainers.

Let us take the stress of planning training and development opportunities; leaving you to relax knowing we’ve got it covered.

We look forward to hearing from you.
