Terms and Conditions

  • Upon completing a booking form, the minimum of a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total course fees must be paid. If the booking form is completed within 40 days prior to the courses commencing date, you are required to pay the course fees in full; all due payments must be paid within 10 days of receiving an invoice.

  • All remaining balances for your course must be paid 30 days prior to the its commencing date, an invoice for any outstanding payments will be sent to your email address 40 days prior. All payments must be made within 10 days of receiving the invoice.

  • If you cancel your attendance upon a course at any time prior to 30 days you are entitled to the return of all your current payments including your deposit.

  • If you cancel your attendance upon a course at any time between 30 and 15 days prior to the courses commencing date, you are entitled to the return of all your current payments excluding your deposit.

  • If you cancel your attendance upon a course between 14 and 0day’s prior to the courses commencing date, all payments previously received will be non-refundable.

  • Should we receive null scheduled payments or notice of null payments within 10working days of an invoice being received, your space may be forfeit and/or deposit payments made will remain non refundable.

  • Unless stated otherwise course attendees are expected to pay their own travel, accommodation and/or catering costs.

  • If for any reason Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited offers transport to course attendees in their own vehicles, either to and from the venue or at any time during a course. These arrangements are nothing to do with Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited, and are solely offered on a general goodwill basis. Unless otherwise previously stated, no right to travel and transport is intended or implied. No liability is implied or accepted by Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited for any loss or damage experienced by a candidate in such cases.

  • Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited reserves the right to alter or cancel a course at its own discretion. In the event Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited cancels a course prior to its commencement and through no fault of the attendee, it will seek to facilitate all alternative arrangements or offer a full refund. Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited will accept no liability for any associated consequential losses.

  • Upon confirmation of registration upon a course, the logistical details beyond the scope of the online description will be made available to you, concerning the start and finish times, course programme, location and equipment requirements via email at a minimum of 2 weeks prior. For courses that require extensive logistical planning such as transport arrangements, the logistical details of the course will be made available to you as soon as you register.

  • Upon successful registration attendees are advised to insure themselves against cancellation or curtailment, personal injury and loss or damage to personal effects and equipment. For courses taking place outside of the UK, personal travel insurance to Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited guidelines are compulsory. Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited will not be held responsible for the loss or damage to personal effects/equipment, howsoever caused.

  • All course instructors and coaches will be qualified to the standard required, and work within the remits and ratios stated and advised by the associated activities national governing bodies and their insuring parties.

  • The syllabus and general programme for each course is as stated on this website. However, the exact programme may vary depending on the weather, location and experience of the candidates.

  • Safety is of paramount importance to Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited, course attendees are expected to agree to act upon any requests that staff consider necessary. Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited, and any of its employees or those working under its name reserves the right to terminate a course immediately for any person who refuses to act on the advice of course tutors.

  • Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited will provide public liability insurance and accidental injury cover for all those attending a course.

  • Lloyd Langford Expedition Training Limited is proud to state high professional standards of client care and safety, however as a client you must realise and understand that all the activities and courses we run all take place in hazardous environments. The risks involved can be minimised but never entirely eliminated.
