This provides a great opportunity for everybody to initially get to know each other, discuss the coming week and enjoy some great food. From here we’ll travel to the small town of Sostanj on the outskirts of Velenje to Turisticna Pirnat, your home for the week.

After having the afternoon to refresh, relax and explore your surroundings, a series of afternoon workshops will run focusing on specific apparel choices, weather conditions and equipment set up. They ask provide a great opportunity for our instructors to get to know you, share stories and discuss your goals and aspirations for the week.

Day 2:

The second day is all about suiting up and getting a feel for the basics. Our coaches will spend a great deal of time sensitively leading you through your first steps, a mixture of instruction and self discovery, with everybody receiving both one-to-one and one-to-three time with our instructors.

During the later afternoon your time will be yours, our team will remain on the slopes to continue instruction, however you’re free to enjoy the freedom of developing by yourself, measuring your own progress or calling it a day when you’re ready.

It is important when learning new skills and pushing yourself to feel comfortable and have the opportunities to relax. Both resorts boast fully equipped spas, gyms, bar and restaurants for you to chill out and enjoy the company of new friends.

From day three onwards the plan will vary dependant upon the pace in which you are developing. Our instructors will continue to choose the best ways to help advance your skills over the course of the week, including morning/evening photographic and video analysis sessions of your performance.

It is almost guaranteed as a novice that at some point during the course you will experience significant fatigue and muscle aches. This is not only common but a natural process due to new muscle groups being used and developing. Therefore during the mid week point the group will take have day off the slopes and head to Lake Bled for a change of scene and cultural experience. We can also book a group ‘beer spa’, wellness and individual massages experiences.

Day 8:

Upon day 8 all good things must come to and end, and we’ll head as a group to Ljubljana Airport to say our goodbyes. We aim to have you leave your time with us having mastered the basics and be independent on blue slopes, buzzing to continue skiing and marking the days until the next season.
